STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – The new variant of coronavirus linked to a swift rise in bacterial infections in Britain has been detected in Sweden just after a traveller from the United Kingdom turned ill and tested optimistic, the Swedish Health and fitness Company reported on Saturday.

Health Company official Sara Byfors advised a news convention the traveller had been isolating and that no further good instances experienced so considerably been detected.

The unknown traveller was keeping in Sormland, south of Stockholm, according to Signe Makitalo, a regional an infection command medical doctor. The new variant is believed to be a lot more transmissible than other folks at present circulating.
